Those businesses that fall outside the boundaries of the Kingsville BIA can choose to join as an Associate Member for only $125 per year.
The Kingsville B.I.A. membership features a 2-tiered system with varying benefits in which business owners can choose what level of involvement best suits their needs. Business owners can apply for Tier 1 membership for $125 and receive the benefits associated with that level or apply for Tier 2 for $200.00 and receive the benefits associated with that level. Please see our Associate Application 2018 for more details about the membership and benefits.
Our Membership term runs from January to December. For those that join mid-year, the fee is prorated.
The fee provides the following benefits:
BIA Newsletters and member communications including information relating to economic development, district maintenance & revitalization, security issues and by-law enforcement etc.
Your listing on the BIA website.
Opportunity to participate in BIA co-operative marketing and promotional activities under the BIA umbrella.
Inclusion in printed BIA business directories/listings.
Invitation to BIA networking and social events including the BIA Annual General Meeting in an “associate member” capacity.
Representation at municipal council on issues facing our BIA.
An Associate Member has the opportunity to present any concerns to the Board of Managers as a delegate.
Please Note:
Associate members shall receive no property improvements/grants or street furniture/fixtures from this membership.
Associate members do not receive board seat privileges and do not qualify to vote on issues.
Associate members can be subject to an additional charge on any promotional activities.
Associate Membership applications are reviewed by the current Kingsville BIA Board of Managers. The Kingsville BIA Board of Managers reserves the right to refuse Associate Membership to any applicant.
