Associate Members

Being a business that falls outside the boundaries of the Kingsville BIA I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Kingsville BIA (Business Improvement Area) and invite you to consider applying to our Associate Membership. 

Becoming a member of the Kingsville BIA is a great opportunity for your business. Formed in 1978, the Kingsville BIA is a well-established Association promoting Kingsville as a business and shopping destination. We currently have 200+ members and by becoming an Associate Member, your business will have access to this large network of successful businesses in Kingsville.

As a Kingsville BIA Associate Member, your $200 annual membership fee will now cover a comprehensive package of perks, including:

  1. 1.  Monthly Newsletter: Stay informed about local news, events, and opportunities through our dedicated newsletter.
  1. 2.  Enhanced Communication: Enjoy additional communication channels throughout the month, ensuring you are well-connected with the Kingsville business community.
  1. 3.  Business Listing: Showcase your business on our newly renovated website, complete with event listings, providing increased visibility to your target audience.
  1. 4.  Social Media Exposure: Benefit from an introductory feature on our social media channels, along with ongoing promotions throughout the year to boost your business profile.
  1. 5.  Cooperative Marketing: Participate in BIA cooperative marketing promotions designed to amplify your business and brand exposure within the community.
  1. 6.  Business Seminars: Attend exclusive BIA arranged business seminars to gain insights, knowledge, and network with fellow local business owners.
  1. 7.  Members Mix and Mingle: Join our members’ mix and mingle events, offering valuable networking opportunities with like-minded business professionals.
  1. 8.  BIA Dollars Option: The BIA Dollar program is a unique program that not only promotes your business but also provides your customers with a 15% discount at no additional cost to you.

Our Membership term year runs from January to December. For those businesses joining mid-year (one time only), the fee would be a prorated amount.

It is important to note that an associate member will receive no property improvements/grants or street furniture/fixtures from this membership, you do not receive board seat privileges and do not qualify to vote on issues as there are unique benefits for our Regular membership.   All members may be subject to an additional charge on promotional activities that they choose to participate in. 

Regular membership applies to businesses that are physically located within the designated BIA district where these businesses pay a mandatory tax levy resulting in additional benefits for these members.

If applying to join the Kingsville BIA is something you wish to do, simply complete the Associate Membership application attached and return it to the BIA Office.   Once it is received all applications are reviewed by the current Kingsville BIA Board of Management for consideration.   No payment is required at the time of application.  Once applications are approved you will be notified by the BIA Coordinator and payment instructions will be provided at that time.

Applications may be emailed to info@kingsvillebia.com , mailed or dropped off to our office location where our address is reflected in our letterhead.   The Board meets once a month and applications are reviewed at that time.
